in the art of seeing
Buying artwork is easy; living with it for years is a different story, if there is one with tenacity that matters.
The reception of what art communicates is an individual choice. So is the response to it. Its absence may suggest differing intellectual interests, backgrounds, experiences, and a lack of an identifiable subject and its meaning.
Or, despite the aesthetic appearances of shapes and colours, nothing to communicate.
No expert advice is going to change that. Although it might take time and reason for the human mind to attune to it.
Selection for Home
Whatever inspires you, it should complement the living space while expressing your identity. My short, 3 mins video demonstrates how to preview any finished artwork from my work collection in your place before your decision.
All steps illustrated in this video apply equally well to the Artwork for Office or Public Space. Additional variants might be better illustrated in the following 4 mins video.
The complementary project, “4K & 8K Presentations” on Smart TVs, could broaden the context of your artwork choice.
The office working environment can improve focus, collaboration, morale, and ultimately, productivity. For any well-run organization, tangible costs and intangible benefits matter. And so do common sense and effective collaboration focus on the results in a fast-changing world.
The benefits of biophilic designs for building office spaces are recognized, they are affordable only to big-budget organizations.
Still, the low cost the substitution as wall images and / or screen projections might be the second best. Especially when their selection engages people in the collaborative decision - making process. It’s a 4 mins demonstration.
